The UBtheNEWS project was initiated by Halbert in January 2007. He sold off everything he owned to provide seed money for the project, bought a 1989 van-sized RV and started traveling the US to give presentations while researching and writing the reports. In October 2009 he was joined in this full commitment effort by Claire Miller and her 22 year-old son, Andrew Myers. The three of them relocated to Boulder, CO in January 2010.

Halbert, Claire, and Andrew have no personal wealth or means of support other than contributions.

Contributions to the UBtheNEWS project are very much appreciated and needed! Because Mind, Body & Spirit has graciously offered to support this work, contributions can be made through them and, if done in that manner, they are tax deductible.
