Saying Goodbye to Piltdown Man

For those of you have been following along with UBtheNEWS developments prior to July 2007, you may have noticed that a topic has disappeared from the site. I decided it was time to say "Goodbye" to the Piltdown Man topic.

No new science has developed to discredit the issue as something that bolster's the credibility of The Urantia Book. Rather what has occurred is that UBtheNEWS now has enough other and more powerful topics that I felt it was time to raise the average quality level of the topics by eliminating the weakest one.

On a practical level, people are only going to spend so much time on the site and the vast majority of people who come to the site are new visitors. New visitors to the site are not well equipped to know which topics offer the best examples of The Urantia Book's credibility. On the home page visitors can see that red arrows in the blue boxes are used to help people identify the more powerful corroborations. The elimination of Piltdown Man has been done in the same spirit of helping visitors have the most beneficial and uplifting experience possible when they come to UBtheNEWS.
